This role will be primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule, while also requiring participation in occasional in-office meetings at our outpatient facility located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance abuse needs, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to gather critical information.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are rooted in evidence-based practices, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, catering to a diverse client population and employing various therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and billing processes.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, participating in case reviews and treatment planning meetings to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as required, demonstrating the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development, staying informed on current trends and advancements in the mental health and substance abuse fields.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus on a varied patient population, including those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders. The role requires sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by these individuals and an understanding of the stigma surrounding mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, with a solid understanding of state regulations and ethical guidelines.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct mental health and substance abuse treatment services to individuals in a clinical setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in collaborating with team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated treatment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 75,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
