Now Hiring: Temporary Administrative Assistant – Town Clerk’s Office

Are you organized, customer-focused, and looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? The Town is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support in the Town Clerk’s Office. This position is available immediately and is expected to continue through April, with the possibility of additional hours during busy periods throughout the year.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week
  • Hours: Flexible schedule within:
    • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    • Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Duration: Immediate opening through April
  • Potential for additional hours during peak operational periods
Responsibilities
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support
  • Assist residents and visitors with customer service inquiries
  • Maintain and organize filing systems and records
  • Support daily office operations
  • Perform data entry, document processing, and related administrative tasks
  • Assist with various Town Clerk functions and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience is a plus
