Step into a rewarding role providing essential support to students across several elementary schools in a dynamic educational setting this spring. A dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed to cover a maternity leave, offering vital therapeutic services in partnership with a district Occupational Therapist.

In this role, you’ll work full-time, engaging directly with small caseloads across multiple elementary schools to provide highly individualized attention. Your daily work will make a direct impact on students’ academic and social success, while also fostering strong relationships with both staff and students.

Your Background:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in South Carolina.
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations as required.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 9-10 students per day, with most therapy sessions lasting 30 minutes.
• Collaborate with a supervising Occupational Therapist to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Work across assigned elementary schools, providing coverage from approximately February 16th, 2027 through May 14th, 2027.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for all sessions.
• Contribute to team meetings and help with program development for students.
