Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to accounts payable processing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day invoice processing by validating invoice information, researching discrepancies, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders as needed to resolve issues.
• Participate in the payment process by reviewing payment batches to ensure accuracy and that all required approvals are obtained before payments are submitted.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift / carry / push / pull and move items 10 pounds (or more.
• Must be able to use close vision and sit for long periods of time.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability and willingness to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
• Skill in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Spoken and written fluency in English

Qualifications:

• Understanding of basic account payable principles
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Self- motivated, deadline and detail oriented
• General business knowledge
