As a fully remote position, the Mental Health Counselor will work primarily from home, collaborating with other healthcare professionals through virtual platforms. You will engage with clients via telehealth and coordinate care effectively with team members, ensuring they receive consistent and comprehensive support throughout their treatment. Flexibility in scheduling will allow for client sessions that accommodate their needs, fostering effective treatment and engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Biopsychosocial assessments within one day of client admission to gather detailed information relevant to their mental health history and needs.

• Establish therapeutic rapport by meeting with clients within twenty-four hours of admission, ensuring they feel supported and understood during their initial phase of treatment.

• Develop Comprehensive Treatment Plans (CTP) and Integrated Treatment Summaries within three days of admission to outline tailored therapeutic goals and interventions.
\n
• Identify weekly treatment goals in collaboration with clients and draft individualized contracts to facilitate accountability and progress tracking.
\n
• Conduct three individual psychotherapy sessions weekly for each client, using evidence-based modalities to address their unique challenges.
\n
• Facilitate conjoint family psychotherapy sessions at least once a week, fostering open communication and healing within family dynamics.
\n
• Lead and deliver professional group therapy sessions to help clients build social skills and share experiences with peers.
\n
• Organize and facilitate Multifamily and Alumni groups, promoting a sense of community and ongoing support for discharged patients.
\n
• Interface with insurance companies as needed, providing necessary clinical information to obtain certifications for initial and continued care coverage.
\n
• Regularly check in with clients in individual sessions to review the CTP, monitor therapeutic progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Maintain open lines of communication with family members, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their loved one’s treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 71,000 to 102,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
