Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the individual needs of each client.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and pre-crisis planning by creating actionable behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment strategies.

• Complete detailed documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure the quality and integrity of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and collaborate with the clinical team to create effective positive behavior support plans.

• Engage actively in the licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the exceptional standards of our services.

• Serve as a liaison with various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to promote a holistic approach to client care.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to further the mission of the center and secure potential partnerships and funding sources.

• Participate in personal and professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings.
\n
• Promote the values and principles of our agency within the community, advocating for the needs of our clients.

• Perform additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director that align with your skills and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing emotional challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license valid in New York state. If you hold an LMHC license from another state, we will cover the fees associated with obtaining licensure in New York.
