Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our modern outpatient clinic in Freehold, NJ, where collaboration thrives amongst a team of physical therapists and healthcare professionals. The typical work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, which allows for a stable work-life balance while providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care to each patient, making assessments that align with their unique goals and needs.
• Maintain a balanced patient caseload that allows for adequate interaction and support for each individual, ensuring quality treatment and recovery.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing proven techniques to facilitate mobility and strength improvement in patients.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that prioritize non-surgical treatment strategies to enhance motion and mobility.
• Develop and modify comprehensive care plans that include a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Design specialized fitness and wellness programs to promote ongoing health improvements and rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing EMR software such as Web PT for efficient record-keeping.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment approaches continuously, ready to adapt plans as needed based on individual patient responses.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
• Work harmoniously with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring coordinated patient care and comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your care will be on a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. You'll leverage your expertise to empower each patient, providing them with strategies to manage pain, regain functionality, and achieve their highest potential in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from any history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and possess exceptional skills in developing effective exercise programs.
• Strong familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for optimal documentation and patient tracking.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and modalities, evidenced by ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly preferred.
• Prior involvement with sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team while taking initiative in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
