This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility and comfort while working during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to understand the severity, frequency, and impact of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, needs, and preferences.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their symptoms and fostering coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and wellness strategies, fostering a deeper understanding and a sense of empowerment.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress throughout therapy, adapting treatment strategies based on their evolving needs and challenges.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated mental health care that addresses both medical and psychological needs.

• Keep current with the latest research and best practices related to mood disorders to inform your therapeutic approaches and interventions.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team consultations, training sessions, and case reviews to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Thorough understanding and implementation skills in evidence-based treatments such as CBT and DBT, specifically for mood disorders.
