Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms. This may involve discussing their history, current challenges, and treatment preferences.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, setting achievable goals and identifying appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families concerning mood disorders and available treatment options, enhancing self-management and coping skills.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their feedback and recovery journey.

• Work in close coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.

You will be working primarily with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is mandatory.
