Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Heart Share Healthcare Center, you will:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared learning experiences among clients.

• Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling, helping clients navigate their emotions, develop coping strategies, and outline action plans for recovery.

• Create Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique needs and aspirations.

• Monitor Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to their treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting clients aged 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), providing them with the necessary tools and support to overcome their struggles with mental health. This population often faces unique challenges as they transition into adulthood, making your role as a counselor crucial in helping them navigate these changes successfully.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling.
