Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their specific mental health needs.

• Offer individual and family therapy sessions, developing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique situations and challenges faced by clients.

• Maintain meticulous records by completing documentation, billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within established timelines.
\n
• Design crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to help clients sustain their mental health and achieve stable functioning.

• Create and implement discharge plans that effectively transition patients to self-management or other levels of care as necessary.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws, regulatory standards, and Kinetic Mental and Wellness Center policies and procedures to maintain compliance and protect client confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and continuing education to remain current in best practices and methodologies.
\n
• Contribute to case consultation meetings and agency team meetings to foster a collaborative approach in client care.

• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain professional credentials.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Kinetic Mental and Wellness Center, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that meets licensing requirements.

• Active and valid licensure as a mental health counselor, such as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW, in the state of Colorado.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in providing telehealth services is highly desirable, as is familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to efficiently manage documentation and client information. Prior involvement in collaborative care settings or team-based approaches to mental health will enhance your ability to connect with colleagues and contribute to case consultations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
