Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments and evaluations to identify client concerns and create tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, providing support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional stability.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive support for your clients.

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential documentation of client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Contribute to program development initiatives by providing insights and suggestions based on client interactions and trends within the therapeutic landscape.

• Stay current with best practices in the field of mental health counseling through continuous training and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges is highly preferred.

• Strong ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is advantageous, as it streamlines documentation and communication processes.

• Demonstrated experience offering therapy to individuals, couples, and families in various formats, including in-person and via telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range between USD 52,000 and 100,000 annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
