Job Title Payroll Clerk Location Charolette, NC Shift Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm Contract W2 under staffing supplier; 6 month contract Pay Rate $27.00 - $29.00 an hour Responsibilities Handle day‑to‑day general inquiries. Collect and verify time‑keeping information for all employees. Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime. Issue statements and invoices and maintain records. Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
