This position allows you the flexibility to work remotely, providing you with the ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to meaningful patient care. Flexible hours are offered within our operational schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, adapting to meet patient needs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and inform tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery, resilience, and empowerment for each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide continuous support through crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel secure and understood.

• Engage in collaborative care efforts with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep current with the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State is essential.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
