Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, crafting detailed clinical diagnoses and individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs.

• Provide various therapy modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing established evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.

• Engage in crisis intervention to support clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and facilitating coping strategies.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment summaries, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive treatment and ensure optimal client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Avella, you will serve a varied clientele encompassing individuals of all ages, families navigating complexities, and couples seeking to enhance their relationships. The therapist will handle various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our focus is on providing holistic care that respects each client's uniqueness and aims at promoting sustainable mental health practices.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW).

• Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.

• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, along with evidence of previous successful therapeutic interventions.

• Have a minimum of two years' related experience working in mental health settings.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective therapist-client relationships.

• Show a capacity to train independently as well as collaborate well within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
