Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and treatment needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Provide ongoing psychotherapy and counseling sessions, documenting client progress and adapting treatment approaches as necessary.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, such as local schools, to ensure holistic support for clients.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and improve service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing quality mental health counseling to a diverse client group, which includes children, adolescents, and adults facing an array of mental health challenges. Understanding the unique needs of these populations, including the impacts of cultural diversity and socioeconomic factors, will be crucial for effective engagement and therapy delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health professional in the state of Georgia (options include LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD).

• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults.
\n
• Proven experience and training in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methods.
\n
• Strong skills in conducting intake assessments, diagnoses, and creating ongoing treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Exceptional written communication skills for accurate session documentation and report generation.
\n
• Legal and ethical professional standing with no disciplinary actions on your record.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, including those with complex mental health issues.

• Familiarity with school-based mental health programs and the ability to navigate the intersection of educational and mental health systems.

• Training in additional therapeutic modalities that can augment CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Mindfulness techniques, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
