Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet individual needs.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices for issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the integration of new therapeutic techniques or referrals to specialized care.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding therapy goals, educational resources, and strategies for managing their mental health.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population. Clients may present a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and family conflicts. Your approach will be culturally sensitive, recognizing and valuing each client's unique background and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic best practices.
\n
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Strong crisis management skills with a focus on maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and a commitment to continuous learning in technology and therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
