Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings rigorously from the first consultation through the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities based on the latest evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic interventions to address varying needs.

• Lead group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community and shared experiences, helping participants benefit from one another's insights and support.

• Continuously monitor client progress against treatment goals and adjust plans accordingly to improve outcomes, including the integration of feedback from clients and their families.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to create a cohesive intervention strategy that addresses all aspects of the client's health.

• Follow up with clients post-hospitalization to ensure they receive the necessary support after discharge, aiding in their successful reintegration into daily life.

• Educate and empower families and caregivers on how to manage and support loved ones facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Illinois as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

• A passing score on relevant licensure examinations, including the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
\n
• Proficiency using electronic health record systems, particularly the AVATAR platform, to maintain accurate client documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to work with clients who face physical health issues, emotional disturbances, or addiction disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting or outpatient mental health clinic.

• Knowledge of best practices as defined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) surrounding therapy modalities and ethical standards.

• Understanding of the impact of pharmacological interventions on mental health treatment and recovery.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on developing therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
