Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, assessing clients from the initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based interventions to promote healing and growth.

• Monitor client's progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and enhance client support.

• Identify potential barriers affecting recovery and develop strategies to address these challenges proactively.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges and provide them with effective coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and care management.
