Work Environment

This is an onsite position in Ashburn, Virginia, primarily focusing on home care for our clients. You will collaborate with a team of knowledgeable physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive care. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific goals and needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing various treatment modalities to enhance mobility and strength.
• Provide regular progress assessments and modify treatment strategies as needed to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and promote adherence to their prescribed exercise and wellness programs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatments provided, and outcomes achieved using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Promote a holistic approach to recovery that emphasizes lifestyle modification, strength building, and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a care continuum that supports patients' long-term health.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with current physical therapy practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a variety of patients, focusing on those who require rehabilitation after sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Our approach is centered around empathy and personalized care, ensuring that each patient's unique journey towards recovery is supported and encouraged.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree (preferred: DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy techniques and outpatient orthopedic care.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage patient caseloads effectively.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for comprehensive patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly with a focus on sports medicine and rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful treatment and exercise programs.
• Experience in providing care that minimizes reliance on medication through alternative therapies.

Compensation and Benefits
