Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient facility in Ashburn, Virginia, which features state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative atmosphere. As a member of our team, you will have the support of both administrative and clinical staff, allowing you to focus on patient-centered care during your 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop customized treatment plans.
• Administer various physical therapy interventions, including modalities, exercises, and hands-on techniques, tailored to each patient's condition.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with physicians' directives.
• Provide education and training for patients and their caregivers, facilitating self-management and promoting recovery techniques.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to enhance patient experiences and satisfaction throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maximize patient outcomes and develop integrated strategies that leverage the strengths of the multidisciplinary team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse range of patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and pediatric needs. You'll have the opportunity to engage with patients at varying levels of functional ability, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that motivate clients to exceed their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, showcasing a well-rounded skill set.
• Current CPR certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment concepts to patients and their families.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other computer applications essential for practice administration.
• A passion for building relationships with clients and a sincere desire to promote health and wellness in the community.

Preferred Experience

Experience in specialized areas such as pediatric therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation is highly desirable, as it will enrich our service offerings and enhance the collaborative approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
