Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. In this full-time position, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, focusing on enhancing patient functionality and improving quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our comfortable and well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Herndon, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and enhancing overall patient function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including muscle, nerve, and joint functions, using diagnostic and prognostic tests.
• Administer a variety of treatments including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage techniques tailored to each patient's condition.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that prescribed therapies are implemented effectively and in compliance with the established plan of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to participate in case discussions and treatment planning, contributing insights based on your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on therapy devices, exercises, and overall physical therapy programs to encourage active participation in the recovery process.
• Prepare for and participate in care plan reviews and adjustments, adapting treatments based on the evolving needs of patients.
• Actively research and implement best practices in physical therapy to enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our outpatient rehabilitation facility, you will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your ability to deliver compassionate care while actively engaging patients in their recovery journey will play a vital role in promoting their health outcomes and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher qualification (Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing therapy practices.
• Current CPR certification and a demonstrable commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and engagement with patients and families.
• A passion for patient-centered care and commitment to educating patients about their recovery and mobilization goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting, with a focus on holistic patient care.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technology and electronic medical records systems to enhance clinical efficiency.
• Proven ability to motivate patients and inspire confidence throughout their therapy journey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
