Work Environment

As part of our onsite outpatient office, you will work in a supportive and engaging environment alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals. Our clinic is designed to offer state-of-the-art facilities, enabling optimal delivery of therapy services. The work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic while providing consistent care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy interventions tailored to the individual goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage your caseload effectively, ensuring that ample time is devoted to each session to maximize patient outcomes.
• Conduct detailed evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Implement and monitor progress on comprehensive rehabilitation strategies, including physical activities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of maintaining a proactive approach to their health and wellness.
• Utilize cost-effective methods to enhance patient mobility and functional abilities, prioritizing non-surgical approaches to treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to promote an integrated approach to patient care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance and high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with patients of all ages, from young athletes to seniors needing rehabilitation after injury. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exemplary proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and a strong understanding of evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
• Excellent skills in creating and implementing effective exercise rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience with WebPT or similar EMR software for documentation purposes.
• A solid track record of positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy research and methodologies, ensuring patient care remains current and effective.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
