Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite in our rehabilitation facility located in Dulles, Virginia. Our center features the latest technology and equipment to support patient treatment and rehabilitation. As part of our team, you will enjoy a structured schedule with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessment and treatment plans to meet the diverse needs of your patients, ensuring each care plan is customized according to their unique goals.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, allowing sufficient time for one-on-one interaction and detailed attention to each patient's progress and challenges.
• Employ your orthopedic clinical expertise and physical therapy knowledge to implement effective therapies, demonstrating an understanding gained from previous experience in similar settings.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement treatment strategies that enhance functional movement, focusing on improving mobility and strength.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, enabling patients to minimize dependency on medications while maximizing their recovery potential.
• Create and execute comprehensive rehabilitation plans that may incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Encourage patient participation in custom-designed fitness and wellness programs that promote overall health and recovery.
• Motivate patients and provide continuous support throughout their treatment process, fostering an encouraging environment conducive to healing.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to align with evolving patient needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment interventions and patient progress, utilizing electronic medical record systems effectively, particularly Web PT.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions is essential.
• Proficient in a range of manual therapy techniques and modalities, demonstrating an exceptional ability to execute effective treatment strategies.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to patients' specific rehabilitation needs.
• Adept in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Up-to-date knowledge of modern physical therapy practices supported by the latest research and clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing a varied caseload with diverse patient needs effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
