Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Clinical Dermatology Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough patient histories and physical exams to identify normal and abnormal dermatological findings.
• Ordering, interpreting, and effectively utilizing laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to inform treatment decisions.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical, tailored to individual patient needs and conditions.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of treatment plans and modifying as necessary based on patient response and clinical judgment.
• Providing education to patients regarding their skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive care practices that promote long-term health.
• Conducting dermatological procedures within the scope of your training and privileges, including biopsies and excisions.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring timely documentation of patient evaluations and care plans.

Qualifications
