Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients and acquire detailed medical histories to guide clinical decisions.
• Collaborate effectively with dermatologists in diagnosing a wide range of skin conditions, providing necessary treatments while adhering to established protocols.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and suturing, demonstrating precision and care for patient comfort.
• Educate patients on skincare regimens, preventive measures, and treatment plans for managing skin diseases, thus empowering them in their healthcare choices.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic procedures based on individual patient assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging as needed to facilitate comprehensive patient evaluations.

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals of all ages with various dermatological concerns. Our clinic caters particularly to those seeking treatment for skin conditions ranging from acne and eczema to complex inflammatory diseases and skin cancers. Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant Certification is required, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is essential, as you will use these tools daily to manage patient data and treatment records.
• The position necessitates completion of an orientation training program with a supervising dermatologist during your first four days of work each week from 9 am to 4 pm. Post-training, your hours may shift based on clinic needs.

Preferred Experience

• Dermatology experience is strongly preferred and will be a crucial factor in the selection process. Experience should ideally align with treating medical dermatology patients and routine care.
• Proficiency in procedures relevant to dermatology, such as biopsy and cryotherapy, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
