Work Environment

This position is based at our modern Surgical Center where the focus is on delivering quality outpatient care. As a Physician Assistant, you will work on-site in a supportive setting alongside a team of passionate healthcare professionals. Working hours are set at 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with evening shifts until 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant at Hope Medical Clinic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and reviewing patient medical histories to inform diagnostic decision-making.
• Ordering, interpreting, and studying diagnostic laboratory tests, including blood tests and imaging studies, to accurately diagnose health conditions.
• Formulating and proposing comprehensive treatment plans for both chronic and acute health issues.
• Prescribing medications as deemed necessary, while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and health schedules to promote continuity of care.
• Providing education to patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care practices.
• Advancing personal knowledge and participating in research efforts to stay updated on best practices in patient care.
• Working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, with a focus on the primary care needs typical of suburban communities. Patients range from children to the elderly, encompassing a variety of acute and chronic health concerns, including cardiovascular issues, metabolic diseases, and preventive health practices. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting public health and disease prevention within the community.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution, with a master’s level education preferred.
• Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New York, along with certification (PA-C) and a DEA number.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in primary care or surgical settings.
• Strong knowledge of health care regulations, clinical guidelines, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proven ability to demonstrate strong ethics, empathy, and a patient-centric approach to care.
• Must show a commitment to continuous professional development and clinical learning.

Preferred Experience

It is preferred that candidates have experience in one or more specialties, including but not limited to internal medicine, acute care, family health, cardiology, or urgent care settings. Bilingual candidates are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role recognizes the value of your experience, with a yearly salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, Hope Medical Clinic offers a robust benefits package, which includes:
