Work Environment

This role is conducted onsite at our Surgical Center in Garden City, a facility equipped with advanced medical technology to support the delivery of precise and effective care. The work environment is collaborative and multidisciplinary, fostering teamwork among healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holidays during times of disaster or emergency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients presenting with both acute and chronic health issues, taking complete medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
• Administer diagnostic procedures and evaluate lab results to establish medical diagnoses, ensuring that any abnormalities are communicated to supervising physicians.
• Identify and manage common illnesses, providing follow-up care and referrals to appropriate specialists when necessary.
• Collaboratively plan and execute care programs, ordering treatments and prescribing medications within physician agreement guidelines.
• Furnish medications under the supervision of a physician, monitor patient responses to treatment, and provide education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, blood tests, and EKGs, facilitating timely decision-making for patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of patient interactions, care provided, and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record system.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families, advocating for preventive care and promoting physical wellness.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care, including facilitating referrals to community health and social services.
• Adhere to clinic policies regarding confidentiality and compliance with legal standards throughout the patient care process.

Compensation and Benefits

Kittitas Healthcare Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 160,000 – 200,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
