Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced patient care for orthopedic cases, executing diagnostic, therapeutic, procedural, and preventive services under physician supervision.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including interpreting radiology reports and lab results, to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer patient histories, prescribe medications, order necessary therapies, and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and surgical success.
• Manage patient care throughout various settings: inpatient, outpatient, consultations, pre-procedural assessments, and post-procedure follow-ups, maintaining a continuum of care.
• Collaborate with the medical team to streamline patient workflows and improve overall service delivery across orthopedics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care protocols and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with musculoskeletal concerns, ranging from acute injuries to chronic pain conditions. Your role as a Physician Assistant will involve developing meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring they feel heard and cared for throughout their treatment journey. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferable in orthopedics.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant and national certification.
• DEA Certificate obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and sound clinical judgment.
• Able to manage urgent referrals and demonstrate proficiency in wound care management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform essential patient care activities.
• Completion of necessary background checks, including drug screening and functional capacity assessments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a surgical or similar surgical outpatient setting, particularly within orthopedic procedures.
• Fellowship training in a related specialty will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 160,000 to 200,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
