Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in their homes, providing both comfort and convenience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and symptoms through comprehensive consultations.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and collaborate with patients to create effective treatment plans designed to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Teach patients how to properly execute therapeutic exercises and use specialized equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs, to support their recovery.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic techniques, including massage and manual therapy, to encourage healing and improve physical function.
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and maintain detailed records that inform ongoing care and support accountability.
• Advise patients and their families on suitable in-home treatment options to ensure continued progress and support outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, including children, seniors, and adults with various physical therapy needs. You will have the opportunity to treat patients with chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation requirements, sports injuries, and developmental disabilities, providing a broad scope of experience in tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy is required to ensure a high standard of care.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy to practice within Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and engage with patients and families.
• Proficient with computer systems and word processing to maintain patient documentation and interact with digital health records efficiently.
• Demonstrated agility and flexibility to adapt to diverse patient requirements and home settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, particularly in home care settings.
• Experience working with a variety of patient populations enhances your ability to provide holistic care.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and latest rehabilitation technologies is an advantage.
