You will work onsite at our modern outpatient office located in the heart of Spring Valley, NY. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and detailed physical examinations on patients to assess health status.
• Utilize diagnostic skills to effectively diagnose and treat both acute and chronic health conditions, including minor injuries and illnesses.
• Order, perform, and interpret various diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests, to guide treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments according to established protocols and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ICD-9 and current coding standards.
• Engage in meaningful collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
• Provide comprehensive patient education focusing on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve caring for a wide range of patients from varied backgrounds and age groups, including children, adults, and the elderly. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner certification in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting, such as urgent care or family medicine.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, and emergency medicine.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly Cerner, to document patient care and manage information effectively.
• Familiarity with various procedures common in urgent care, including but not limited to suturing and minor surgical interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
