Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by meeting with clients to evaluate their mental health status, determine treatment goals, and establish a therapeutic alliance.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, focusing on their specific challenges and objectives.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions, providing both individual and group strategies that equip clients with the coping tools necessary for overcoming mental health barriers.

• Offer referrals to other specialized healthcare providers, including psychiatrists or support groups when necessary, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Document therapeutic interventions and client progress accurately in the EHR system, maintaining a high standard of clinical record-keeping.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies, fostering a cohesive approach to client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a varied client population, including individuals with mental health disorders, co-occurring substance use issues, and those experiencing life transitions that impact their emotional well-being. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a depth of knowledge in various therapeutic methodologies and practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
