Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), catered to clients seeking stress relief and greater emotional wellness.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds, stresses, and therapeutic goals, allowing for personalized treatment plans.

• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness, emotional balance, and stress management.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices that not only support individual growth but also encourage community building among participants.

• Utilize mindfulness techniques within individual therapy sessions to effectively address various mental health challenges, ensuring clients have enhanced coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment strategy that includes mindfulness practices across the therapeutic spectrum.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment adjustments, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling the creation of a supportive, calming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other mindfulness practices preferably within a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
