Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather insights on patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and life enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their experiences, enhance coping mechanisms, and foster healing through shared experiences.

• Work in close coordination with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care that meets the full spectrum of patient needs.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and mental wellness.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with the knowledge and resources required for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
