Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health needs, crafting detailed treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, ensuring that therapeutic approaches are customized for each client's situation.

• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and implement strategies to monitor and progress in achieving those goals throughout treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adolescents and young adults facing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your ability to build rapport and offer a warm, empathic approach will be crucial in fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to feel safe in discussing their issues and engaging in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PsyD is required to practice.

• Proven ability to provide telehealth therapy services, particularly to adolescents and young adults, is essential.

• Strong proficiency with technology, including familiarity with Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs), to manage client documentation effectively.

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to enhance engagement with clients and facilitate collaboration among peers.

• A professional and neat presentation is expected to maintain the integrity of the therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience delivering evidence-based therapies in a mental health setting.

• Willingness to engage in multiple training opportunities to become proficient in our customized evidence-based practices, including methodologies such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

• A history of independent clinical experience that reflects a solid understanding of treatment approaches tailored to client needs.
