Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position, beginning August 17, 2026, and ending May 28, 2027, focuses on supporting students in a self-contained classroom for grades 4 through 6, working with a caseload of 10-13 students in an onsite setting.

Your ability to develop and implement comprehensive IEPs, collaborate with internal teams, and specialize in supporting diverse needs will be central to student success. What you'll bring:

• Valid PEL License with LBS1 endorsement (ESL, EC, or SPED endorsements valued)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proven experience in self-contained elementary special education settings
• Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs, with the ability to collaborate across school departments
• Commitment to empowering students with diverse abilities
• Bilingual abilities considered a significant asset

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct instructional support to a self-contained classroom of students in grades 4-6
• Develop, implement, and adapt IEPs tailored to student strengths and needs
• Foster positive communication with families, colleagues, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with special education policies
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
