Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, mental health challenges, and specific goals, enabling personalized mindfulness practices.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to clients, assisting them in developing coping strategies to manage stress effectively and promote relaxation.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, seamlessly integrating mindfulness techniques to address clients' unique mental health concerns, while encouraging emotional regulation and self-exploration.

• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness and foster emotional balance.

• Organize and lead group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, stress reduction, and resilience-building strategies, thereby building a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to incorporate mindfulness approaches into comprehensive care plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and training, to reinforce expertise in mindfulness-based approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients who may be facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mindfulness-based practices/comprehensive understanding of mindfulness interventions.
