Gracious Growth Counseling Center operates Monday through Saturday, affording you the freedom to manage your caseload and appointments to best suit your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a thorough and empathetic approach to identify needs and recommend appropriate interventions.

• Performing initial comprehensive evaluations of patients, creating tailored care plans based on their unique circumstances and clinical needs.

• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing ongoing case management for assigned patients, which may include consultations, communication with external agencies, and referral to community resources.

• Delivering therapy using evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to aid clients in fulfilling their individualized treatment objectives.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation regarding assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure conformity with department standards.

• Participating in clinical meetings and case reviews to align treatment strategies and outcomes with the center’s objectives.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must hold a valid and unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
