Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that foster support and connection among clients, encouraging peer learning and sharing of experiences.

• Deliver individualized therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs, helping them delve into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans, actively involving them in their own recovery journey.

• Utilize various assessment tools to monitor client progress, ensuring that treatment is effective and that adjustments are made as necessary.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate efforts for complex cases.

• Regularly communicate with family members and other stakeholders to align support efforts and achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking assistance for anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. With a commitment to providing evidence-based interventions, you will work in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), helping clients navigate their challenges and empower them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Active LMHC licensure in New York State is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of mental health treatment methodologies, particularly in addressing adolescent and young adult issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working directly with young adults facing anxiety and depression.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling modalities.

• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
