Work Environment This is a fully remote position that leverages telehealth technologies to connect with clients. You will operate within a supportive virtual setting that encourages collaboration with mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists. Our work hours are structured to be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs, promoting a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using solution-focused, evidence-based practices to inform tailored treatment plans for each client. Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques as required for individual client circumstances. Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and internal standards, ensuring the highest level of client confidentiality. Engage actively in case consultations and collaborative discussions with your treatment team, contributing to a shared commitment to excellence in patient care. Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and effective coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of available resources. Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health to enhance your practice and contribute to the overall knowledge base of the team. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve include individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges including but not limited to trauma-related disorders, anxiety, and depression. You will work with a diverse population, providing culturally sensitive care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Active clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. Proficient understanding of solution-based therapies with an ability to customize interventions for the individual needs of clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members. Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical scenarios. Preferred Experience Previous experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and documentation practices. Experience working with diverse populations and specialized knowledge in trauma-informed care is a plus.
