The position entails a structured 36-hour workweek, with flexibility to work primarily Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' mental and emotional health, focusing on factors influencing weight management and eating behaviors.

• Utilize standardized diagnostic techniques to identify mental health challenges, assisting in the formulation of tailored treatment approaches.

• Offer personalized one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional, behavioral, and psychological aspects impacting clients' weight-loss journeys.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, targeting clients' specific needs and aspirations.

• Educate clients about the mental and psychological components of obesity, including self-esteem, body image, and coping strategies.

• Empower clients to effect lasting behavioral change by employing evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Lead or co-facilitate group therapy sessions focused on weight management, fostering an encouraging environment for shared experiences and peer support.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nutritionists, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care that addresses both emotional and physical health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• An unrestricted LMHC license to practice in the state is mandatory.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds as necessary for certain tasks.

• Visual acuity for tasks that require close and distant vision, as well as the ability to differentiate color and depth.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
