Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to identify their needs, goals, and concerns.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client collaboration.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to address complex emotional and relational issues.

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies, adjusting plans as necessary to promote clients' progress and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, addressing all aspects of clients' health.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training opportunities and staying current with best practices in mental health therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, supporting clients during acute episodes of distress or emergencies.

• Advocate for clients' needs and empower them to make informed choices regarding their treatment and care.

• Promote and model effective self-care techniques, both for clients and yourself, to cultivate resilience and reduce burnout.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and couples facing a wide array of mental health challenges. Your therapeutic approach will cater to various issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and emotional distress, fostering a safe space where clients can explore their feelings and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Current licensure to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience in providing individual therapy and/or couples therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
