Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and resources, setting a collaborative foundation for treatment.

• Deliver individualized, family-centered, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that articulate clear goals and actionable interventions, updating them as the client progresses.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and address any overlapping concerns in therapy and medication management.

• Provide crisis intervention, conduct thorough risk assessments, and develop safety plans to address urgent client needs effectively.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups that promote client interaction and shared experiences.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a demonstrated capacity to engage clients in therapeutic settings.

• Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the ability to apply them effectively in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or family therapy modalities, as well as experience working with children and adolescents. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain meticulous client documentation is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a competitive sign-on bonus.
