Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as an LMFT, you will undertake various responsibilities that are critical to our clients' journeys. These include:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to understand clients' specific needs and challenges, followed by developing individualized treatment plans that guide the therapeutic process.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy tailored to a range of issues including relational distress, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions, thereby significantly impacting client outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health standards, ensuring all client interactions and treatments comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaboration with our multidisciplinary team on complex cases when necessary, drawing on the expertise of diverse professionals to create comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Actively participating in team meetings and case consultations, fostering an environment of learning and sharing best practices within our professional community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals, couples, and families seeking support for emotional challenges. You will encounter a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with relationship issues, mental health disorders, and life transitions. We encourage therapists to explore and implement culturally competent practices tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• Current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or psychiatric setting, showcasing proficiency in counseling techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary framework, contributing to team successes and enhancing client care.
• Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal mental health regulations, reflecting our commitment to ethical practice.

Preferred Experience
