Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily tasks will include: Conducting individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. Assessing clients through telehealth modalities to identify their unique needs and create personalized treatment plans. Engaging in case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights, enhance skills, and collaborate on client care strategies. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies. Participating in regular training and supervision sessions to refine clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care. Networking and collaborating with community resources to facilitate holistic support for clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on engaging with adolescent and young adult clients who may be experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. With a maximum of eight clients in each group session, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships, fostering an environment conducive to healing and personal growth. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required. A valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent is essential. Junior-licensed clinicians are welcome, with supervision provided. Availability to dedicate between 12 and 40 hours per week, depending on whether you choose a 1099 contract or W2 employment. Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing empathetic and culturally competent care. Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Preferred Experience Experience working with adolescent and young adult populations in mental health settings. Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention techniques. Active engagement in continuous learning and professional development through workshops, seminars, or certifications. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
