Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments including GAINs, LOCUS, crisis planning, and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitating case management and providing resource linkages to clients, ensuring they have access to necessary services.
\n
• Engaging with clients in a culturally sensitive manner, respecting their diverse socioeconomic, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

• Participating in an after-hours on-call rotation and providing holiday coverage with other team members as needed.
\n
• Delivering face-to-face and telehealth counseling sessions and adapting to clients’ needs and preferences.

• Collaborating closely with family members to monitor clients' behavioral changes and support their treatment progress.

• Providing crisis intervention and diversion techniques to effectively manage clients’ emergencies.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

• Participating in ongoing training and supervision to meet agency standards, including attending workshops and seminars to enhance professional skills.

• Assisting in the supervision and mentoring of junior therapists and interns, fostering their professional development.
