Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through virtual consultations, employing diagnostic tools and techniques.

• Develop personalized therapy plans based on comprehensive evaluations, aligning with best practices and clinical guidelines.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, utilizing culturally responsive therapeutic methods to improve engagement and outcomes.

• Measure and monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and addressing issues such as substance abuse, anxiety, depression, or eating disorders.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately in our EHR system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing strong de-escalation skills to support clients through challenging emotional and psychological situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Optimize Recovery Counseling Services, you will engage with a diverse client base, many of whom present with complex mental health concerns, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders like depression, trauma-related issues, and substance abuse disorders. This role requires a commitment to fostering a safe and respectful environment that encourages each client to voice their concerns while working through their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably with a wide range of client populations.

• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Strong capacity for crisis intervention and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and fostering therapeutic alliances.

Compensation and Benefits\n
