Work Environment

Our outpatient facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and treatment areas designed to provide a comfortable and efficient setting for both patients and healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist with us, you will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare providers, including fellow therapists, physicians, and nurses, allowing for comprehensive patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical function and movement limitations to design effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols based on clinical observations and patient feedback.
• Keep precise and up-to-date patient records using WebPT, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with team members.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment objectives, progress, and home exercise programs to encourage proactive engagement in the recovery process.
• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and develop collaborative treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, active seniors, and individuals seeking improved functionality in daily activities. You will engage with patients of various ages, tailoring your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs and lifestyle goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active California Physical Therapist license or the ability to secure one is essential.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning skills and a hands-on, patient-focused approach to therapeutic practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and engage patients throughout their healing journey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in developing and implementing specialized rehabilitation programs for diverse patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits
