This remote position offers flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients using evidence-based practices and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their individual circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive change, support emotional regulation, and enhance coping strategies.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records to document patient progress, treatment interventions, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.

• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss challenging cases and share best practices, thereby enhancing the overall quality of care provided to clients.

• Educate and engage clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, ensuring they are informed and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Centurion Mental Healthcare, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults experiencing chronic and acute mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. Our holistic approach prioritizes the client’s unique experiences, enabling you to tailor therapy to meet their specific needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New York State.

• Strong understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions, allowing for a personalized and effective therapeutic approach tailored to each client.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and facilitate open conversations about mental health.
