Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to client care. Our therapists typically work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Working from home does not compromise our collaborative environment; we utilize robust virtual communication tools to ensure seamless teamwork and coordination.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients’ unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that leverage their strengths.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that cover a range of topics related to mental health, fostering community and peer support among participants.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and holistic treatment approaches for clients.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations and provide urgent care support during mental health emergencies, prioritizing client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, exploring treatment options and connecting them with community resources that enhance their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Actively engage in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.

• Stay informed of the latest research, best practices, and trends in mental health therapy to apply cutting-edge approaches in your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various levels of mental health challenges. Your ability to empathize and adapt your therapeutic methods to meet the specific needs of clients from different backgrounds will be essential for success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and best practice guidelines.
\n
• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
\n
• A proven track record of delivering individual and group therapy to various populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills that build trust and rapport with clients.

• Ability to exemplify sound judgment and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications relevant to therapy and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing therapy in a community health clinic or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
